Contingent Chamber promotes contemporary and avantgarde repertoire through a series of live performances, talks and education workshops designed to increase accessibility to the genre. The team is a pool of expert musicians that come together in many forms to form the Contingent Chamber. The programme runs periodically, and more information can be found at the details below.
FLUTES DU SOLEIL
Flutes du Soleil is a fun and friendly week of flute playing in the French Alps, led by flautist and educator Andrea Kuypers. The course is set in the magical Haute-Savoie region of France and is designed to inspire and develop flautists of all ages and abilities, where the emphasis is on learning through enjoyment. Chris is the Course Coordinator, and manages the marketing, finances and non-musical leadership of the course. This summer, the course runs between 26 July - 1 August 2020 and is available to book online with a £150 deposit.
Flutes Unlimited is an amateur flute orchestra, based in Glasgow's South Side. It was set up in 2010 to create opportunities for flute players to enjoy playing with others, and has now been running for over 10 years. The group have recently become member-led through the formation of a committee. Chris is the group Treasurer, and manages the group's cash flow and bank accounts, and the formation of a new membership by Direct Debit system. CoMA Glasgow is the first Scottish chapter of Contemporary Music for All (CoMA). CoMA was first founded in 1993 to enable musicians of all abilities to participate actively in contemporary music. It has a national network of instrumental and vocal ensembles and an expanding international programme. The Glasgow chapter was formed in 2019. Chris is a member of the group's forming committee and, in addition to performing, contributes to the marketing and ticket sales elements of the group, and acts at group Treasurer. THE EDINBURGH QUARTET
The Edinburgh Quartet are one of Scotland's foremost string quartets, touring across Scotland delivering a world-class chamber music programme and a roadshow of educational work. Chris provided Project Management services to the Quartet including diary management, financial planning, major funding applications, membership scheme management, marketing, design and tour planning.

LONDON ANALOGUE FESTIVAL
London Analogue Festival ran for a number of years, celebrating the beauty of analogue creation and giving the public free opportunities to engage with analogue media - across film, print, photography and sound. Chris provided Project Management and Health and Safety guidance services to the festival's Director, assisting the team to deliver their most ambitious event over a weekend at the Oxo Tower complex in London.
LIVE UNLIMITED EDUCATION
Live Unlimited Education was a project formed by Chris alongside flautist Andrea Kuypers. The project ran flute education days across Scotland, providing an intensive day course for aspiring flute players.
